總統要天下為公 不能有私心

總統馬英九今天出席日本妙心寺派的臨濟護國禪寺，大雄寶殿落成典禮，馬總統接受日本貴賓送給他的墨寶，看到日本字的「總」，右邊是「公」和「心」組合而成，有感而發地說，「這表示做總統的人要天下為公，不能有私心」，他覺得非常的好。

由於正值前總統陳水扁爆發海外密帳案之際，馬總統的這番談話引起在場媒體關注，但面對媒體追問是否指涉陳總統，馬總統並未回答。
